Santa Claus and The Toy Workshop – Got To Know Holiday Camps

The Junior Academy presents to you ” Got to Know Holiday Camp ” a fun, interactive 5-days camp for young learners ages 3 – 6 years old. Engage your child’s education, explore the world of Santa Claus and The Toy Workshop, learn about Christmas and The Spirit Of Giving, experience team work and friendship, make new friends and so much more. Camp is available on 9 – 13 December 2013 from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Learning about Santa Claus and the Toy Workshop can help children develop an appreciation for the seasonal celebration of Christmas. This camp on Santa Claus and the Toy Workshop will let the children experience the beauty of Christmas. Children will become Santa’s helpers in the Toy Workshop as they learn to make different kinds of toys each day. Aside from that, they will learn about sharing and the spirit of giving as well as some Christmas songs. They will learn to recognize the four seasons in a year, with winter being the Christmas season, besides helping to make Christmas decorative ornaments and Christmas cookies. At the last day of camp the children will each prepare a gift for some less privileged children at an orphanage where we will send the gifts to them. This teaches children about the values of sharing and giving besides of receiving during Christmas time. This camp helps to develop:
– Communications skills
– Reading skills
– Art skills
– Cognitive skills
– Get into the Christmas spirit as we learn about the various elements in celebrating Christmas and how Santa gets the toys from his workshop to the little children.
Children are curious and love to ask ”Why?” The Exploration Stations and Discovery Stations are two important components of this camp.
