DESCRIPTION:The Junior Academy presents to you ” Got to Know Holiday Camp ” a fun\, interactive 5-days camp for young learners ages 3 – 6 years old. Engage your child’s education\, explore the world of Archeology\, learn about Fossils and Artifacts\, experience team work and friendship\, make new friends and so much more. Camp is available on 2 – 6 December 2013 from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. \nMost kids like mysteries\, and that’s what archaeology is: uncovering mysteries. Children are naturally curious\, and archaeology is about finding historical artifacts and figuring out what they mean. If you think your child has the makings of a born archaeologist\, you can encourage that innate sense of discovery. Help your child learn to sort\, categorize and organize by completing age-appropriate activities. This camp teach kids how to become young archaeologists. Imagine the thrill students will experience as they discover artifacts from the past. Archeology can help children develop an appreciation for the historic and pre-historic eras. They will learn about cave drawings as well as how to make plant and animal fossils. They will learn to recognize different tools and implements used in an archeological dig besides learning the importance of preserving these fossil and artifacts that are found. This camp helps to develop:\n– Communications skills\n– Reading skills\n– Art skills\n– Cognitive skills\n– Discover different kind of fossils and artifacts and how these finds help us to learn about  the historic and pre-historic eras.\n\nChildren are curious and love to ask ” Why? ” The Exploration Stations and Discovery Stationsare two important components of this camp. The Exploration Stations allow children to experience a wide range of activities at their own pace\, while Discovery Corner activities engage children in exciting group projects to foster teamwork.
